What You'll Do

  • Welcome and greet guests with high energy and a professional, approachable demeanor

  • Explain the simulator experience in a fun, simple way and guide guests through their session

  • Manage guest flow, wait times, and session rotations to keep things running smoothly

  • Capture photo and video content with guests and the simulators for social media

  • Promote the brand, encourage social follows, sign-ups, and future bookings

  • Answer guest questions about SimsForHire, Shift Arcade Miami, and our services

  • Collect quick feedback from guests and communicate it to the team

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional event setup throughout your shift

What positions does SimsForHire hire for? +

We hire event operators (set up and run racing simulators at events), sim technicians (maintain hardware, calibrate motion platforms, troubleshoot software), warehouse and logistics crew (load-in / load-out of rigs across South Florida), event leads (run multi-rig events with 3-10 simulators), and sales / business development. What is the hiring process like? +

Apply through the form on the role you want. We respond within 48 hours. Process is typically a 15-minute intro call, a hands-on working interview (you set up a rig with our team at the warehouse or shadow at a live event), and a reference check. For event operators we move fast — qualified candidates can be working their first event within 2-3 weeks.

Do I need sim racing experience to work here? +

No. We train every operator and technician from zero. What matters more is reliability, customer presence, and the ability to stay calm under load (events get hectic). Sim racing experience is a plus and we will absolutely give you seat time during training, but it is not a requirement.

Where is SimsForHire based? +

Our HQ and warehouse are in Miami, Florida. Most roles are based locally and require working at events across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties — within 150 miles of Miami. Some travel for larger event activations (F1 Miami, PGA tournaments, multi-day brand activations) is part of the gig.

Is training provided? +

Yes. All new hires get paid training on our hardware (Sigma Integrale motion platforms, Simucube 2 wheels, Heusinkveld pedals, triple 39-inch displays), our event playbook, customer interaction, and our live leaderboard system. Event operators shadow 2-3 events before running their own. Technicians get a structured 30-day ramp on hardware diagnostics.

What are the growth opportunities? +

Event operators move to event leads (run their own events, manage other operators), then to event managers (own client relationships and quote events). Technicians grow into senior tech roles or move into install and lease operations. We promote from within — most of our event leads and senior techs started as operators.

What is the pay like? +

We pay above-market hourly for event operators and technicians, with overtime for long events and a per-event bonus structure for multi-day activations. Salaried roles (event leads, sales) include performance bonuses tied to event revenue. Specific pay is discussed during the intro call once we know which role fits.
