Frequently Asked Questions

How many cars are available on the SimsForHire racing simulators? +

618 cars across 96 manufacturers and 13 categories — from Ferrari and Porsche to F1 cars, GT3 race cars, rally machines, drift cars, and classic legends. Every car in our fleet is available on both full-motion and non-motion rigs, and your guests can swap cars between sessions.

Can I drive a Ferrari, Lamborghini, or Porsche at my event? +

Yes — our fleet includes Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Aston Martin, and the rest of the supercar lineup. Guests can drive a Ferrari 488 GT3 on the Nürburgring, a Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo at Daytona, or a Porsche 911 GT3 R at Spa-Francorchamps. Browse the full car list or call (754) 228-5654.

Can guests pick which car they drive? +

Yes. Every guest selects their car at the start of their session, and can swap cars between runs. Our on-site technician helps less-experienced drivers pick something forgiving (think Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport), while experienced drivers can jump straight into a Formula car or GT3 prototype.

Do you have Formula 1 cars on the simulator? +

Yes. We offer modern-era F1 cars and historic single-seaters that mirror real F1 chassis. Combined with the Simagic GT Neo Formula wheel and Heusinkveld pedals, the F1 experience is the closest most people will get to driving an actual Grand Prix car — perfect for F1 Miami watch parties or Grand Prix-themed activations.

Do you have classic and vintage race cars? +

Yes. Our fleet includes classic Ferraris, vintage Porsches (911 Carrera RSR, 917K), historic Lotus and Lola prototypes, and Group B rally legends. Classic-car events at dealerships and concours weekends frequently pair these with period-correct tracks like Le Mans 1971 or Targa Florio.

What's the difference between GT3, GT4, and GTE race cars? +

GT3 cars are pro-am-level race cars (~550 hp, downforce-heavy, what you see in IMSA and the 24 Hours of Spa). GT4 cars are entry-level race cars (~430 hp, less downforce, easier for novice drivers). GTE cars are the now-discontinued endurance-prototype class. We have all three classes from the major manufacturers.

How do I pick the right car for my event? +

For corporate teams, GT3 or GT4 race cars work best — they're forgiving and look serious. For dealership activations, feature your own brand's cars (BMW M, Porsche Cup, Audi R8 LMS). For VIP and luxury events, lean into supercars and F1. Our team can pre-configure a curated 6–8 car shortlist for your event.

Are these the same cars used in real racing? +

The cars in our simulators are modeled directly from the real-world chassis using manufacturer data, telemetry, and physical measurements. The physics engine accounts for actual weight, suspension geometry, tire compounds, and aerodynamics — which is why real racing teams use the same simulators for driver training.
